The Victory Coalition called, on Monday (November 4, 2024), to adopt the directives of Imam al-Sistani as a document of principles for political action.
Al-Nasr stated in a statement received by "Baghdad Today" that he "declares his full support for the directives of His Eminence Imam al-Sistani, which stipulate (preventing foreign interference in all its forms, enforcing the rule of law, and restricting arms to the state), and he sees in them major principles that preserve the interests of the people and the state."
He added, "We see in His Eminence's emphasis on (running the country based on the principle of competence and integrity in assuming positions of responsibility, and combating corruption at all levels) the essence of the desired reform that must be worked on to ensure the proper and effective management of the state and its institutions."
Al-Nasr called on "all political forces to adopt His Eminence's directives as a document of principles through which the work and performance of political forces are organized, far from adventure, chaos and corruption, and in order to preserve the supreme national interests."
