    The Ministry of Interior issued mechanisms to regulate the work of private security companies as part of its directives to limit weapons to the state, while the number of weapons withdrawn from non-security ministries and their affiliated entities reached (31) thousand pieces.

    He added that the committee issued mechanisms to regulate the work of (130) private security companies, including restricting their weapons and registering them in the bank’s database.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

    For weapons .[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]The committee will soon direct these companies to replace old weapons with new ones in coordination with the Military Industrialization Authority after auditing them and revealing that they are not stolen.

    He explained that[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]It is a member of a number of international agreements that stipulate the end of all forms of armament, so the ministry and the concerned authorities must adhere to its provisions in light of the government’s interest in expanding investment projects with the participation of various international entities and providing a safe environment for their implementation.

    He noted[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]By forming[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]To withdraw weapons from non-security ministries and their affiliated entities, where the number of withdrawn pieces reached (31) thousand, indicating that Law No. (51) of (2017) authorized the Minister of Interior to issue approvals for carrying weapons for non-security entities.
