    [size=18]Transport Minister Abdullah Laibi said on Saturday to keep pace with the global development in the field of transport using containers with the adoption of smart systems in various sectors, while calling for the implementation of the agreements reached by Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi with his Jordanian counterpart Omar Razzaz last February, especially in the economic aspect.


    "The Minister of Transport Abdullah Laibi attended on Saturday the fourth national conference organized by the Jordanian Ministry of Transport under the title (Challenges of the reality of transport and future aspirations), under the auspices of the Jordanian Minister of Transport Anmar Al-Khasawneh and the presence of the Minister of Transport," the ministry said in a statement.     The ministry added that "the visit of the Minister of Transport will not take more than 24 working hours because the Ministry of Transport is busy implementing the plan to transfer the million visit and direct supervision of the arrival of arrivals from inside and outside Iraq to the holy city of Karbala."

    In a speech at the conference, Luaibi stressed the importance of keeping pace with the global development in the field of transport using containers with the adoption of smart systems in various sectors and the accompanying development of information structures to facilitate work in all Arab ports, and provide the opportunity for the private sector to finance transport projects.


    He pointed out, according to the statement, "the need for joint work to implement the agreements and understandings reached by the two sides during their meeting last February, chaired by Prime Minister Omar Razzaz and his Iraqi counterpart Adel Abdul Mahdi, which aims to improve the level of cooperation, especially in the economic aspect."

    He pointed out that "Iraq, Jordan and Egypt have strong fraternal relations and must reach an advanced stage of economic cooperation to serve common interests and maximize the utilization of opportunities that will constitute a lever for economic relations with brotherly countries."

    He stressed, "The importance and necessity of an effective and unified system to accommodate the upward growth in the field of transport in our countries and at various levels of transport, whether cargo, cargo or travelers, stressing that everyone should seek confident steps through the development of deliberate plans in addition to joint coordination and exchange of experiences among us to improve the reality Transport to the level of ambition. "
