    Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs, Oil Minister Thamer Abbas Ghadban, on Monday, to increase the number of national manpower in all oil projects.
    Ghadhban said in a statement received / information / a copy of it, that "the completion rates of the Karbala refinery project is rising as planned," stressing "not to allow any party to stop the work of this vital refinery or to influence the work under any pretexts or justifications."
    He added, "Refinery is one of the vital national and strategic projects in the national oil industry, which covers a large part of the domestic need of oil derivatives and serve the public interest."
    Ghadhban said that the ministry is keen to increase the proportion of the employment of national manpower in all oil projects and provide a suitable environment for work and production, praising the efforts of Korean and national companies to achieve advanced steps in the completion of work in the project, which exceeded 76 percent.
