ARBIL (Kurdistan 24) - The Iraqi ambassador to Amman Haider Al-Athari said that seven Iraqis, including a woman, were infected with the new coronavirus in Jordan.
Al-Adhari wrote on his Twitter account that among the cases that were registered in Jordan recently, "an Iraqi woman took the virus from her infected father, bringing the number of infected members of the Iraqi community to seven people, all of whom are in good health ... following their health condition personally."
Jordan has closed land and sea border crossings with Syria, Iraq, Egypt and Israel and has suspended international flights since Tuesday.
On Thursday, the military isolated the capital, Amman, from the rest of the kingdom, imposing a closure on the population of 10 million.
