    Baghdad / National News Center
, the Turkish ambassador to Baghdad, Fatih Yildiz, today, Wednesday, sent a "strong-word" message to the leaders of the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

Yildiz said, in a statement received by the National News Center, that "it is noticeable that among the commemorative stamps that are expected to be issued by the Kurdish region administration in Iraq on the occasion of Pope Francis' visit to Iraq, a postage stamp draws a map that includes some cities in Turkey as well." .
He added, "Some leaders of the Kurdish region administration in Iraq, who go beyond their borders, are trying to use this visit to reveal their empty dreams about the territorial integrity of the countries neighboring Iraq."
He stressed, "The authorities of the Kurdish region in Iraq must remember how such malicious ambitions ended in failure."
The Turkish ambassador called on the Kurdistan authorities to "issue a statement necessary to correct this fatal mistake, as soon as possible and clearly."
