Today, Saturday, the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, practicing intimidation and spreading terror among Palestinian worshipers.

The ministry said, in a statement received by Alsumaria News, "We affirm the solidarity of the Iraqi government and people with the people of Al-Quds Al-Sharif," and at the same time called for "an end to hostile attacks on the safe."

According to the statement, the ministry condemned the Israeli forces storming the Al-Aqsa Mosque, practicing acts of intimidation and spreading terror among the ranks of the Palestinian worshipers.

The statement added, "We reiterate our firm and principled position on the Palestinian cause, which was and remains a pivotal issue."
