Former Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi Al-Had revealed that opportunists used the crowd as a card for electoral interests, pointing out that postponing the elections is out of the question.
Al-Abadi said, in a televised interview, "We reject the use of Iraq to launch attacks on neighboring countries," adding, "We welcome Iraq's openness to its Arab surroundings."
He stressed that "attacks on the international coalition forces are rejected," stressing that "the Turkish forces must be removed from Iraqi territory through dialogue."
Regarding the popular crowd, al-Abadi announced his rejection of the political agenda within the popular crowd. He said, "We want the crowd to be under the command of the commander in chief," noting that "people within the crowd are working in mood to carry out the work under the command of the commander in chief."
He added: "We are against the use of the crowd by some opportunists for electoral interests," continuing:
