    {Local: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works managed to complete the first phase of automation and e-government procedures within the specified ceilings, while it awaits the completion of the second phase of the important project after the launch of financial allocations.
    In a press statement, the ministry’s media center indicated that “the procedures related to automation and e-governance are part of the completion of the e-government and transparency project, including all state institutions and according to the specified time ceilings, and the first phase of the e-government project has been completed (which includes the establishment of the ministry’s data center with good specifications).” .
    The center indicated that "many networked and specialized systems were designed for the Ministry's headquarters and its formations, including (individuals, unified salaries, warehouses, fixed assets, electronic mail follow-up, laws and legislation, water quality control, municipal property inventory and other specialized systems)."
    The media center of the ministry confirmed that "the ministry has implemented many activities in the field of e-governance, including updating the internet of the ministry's website, as well as preparing for contracting with a specialized company to protect data security, and coordinating with (UNICEF) to build a system for a water safety plan, which includes this The system includes all water data, tests and analysis, in addition to all data for water projects.
    He added, "The Information Systems Center in the Ministry has been involved in the committees of Diwani Order No. (22) of 2020, which is responsible for implementing the e-government project, setting up a special team for automating real estate registration departments and the electronic collection team, and following up on the implementation of the national document management system for the Ministry's headquarters, which is prepared by the secretariat. General of the Council of Ministers to send and receive mail and documents with all government agencies and work to expand the scope of its work to include all formations of the ministry, as well as assisting the State Real Estate Department in designing the property inventory system of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Communications to build a system for inventorying state lands and real estate, as well as coordinating with the Ministry of Justice The Real Estate Registration Department to build a system for real estate belonging to citizens within the real estate registration departments. 
    He pointed out that "based on Cabinet Resolution No. 378 in 2018 regarding electronic collection, an electronic payment company was contracted to complete the project for the Iraqi Housing Fund. The project includes collecting all amounts from the borrower's monthly installments through credit cards operating in Iraq and licensed by the bank."
