The head of the authority, Suha Al-Najjar, said that "the authority has worked since the announcement of the Rafael housing project and throughout the previous months, to survey its lands, which have an area of 106 thousand acres."
She added, "The authority is working on surveying the plots in cooperation with the Ministry of Water Resources, as it is responsible for the survey to separate private ownership and lands that have agricultural contracts," noting that "after these procedures, the authority was able to obtain the plots and is working on (Master Plan - Planning) to divide it into projects. investment, and this process will be in stages.
She pointed out that "the first phase has been completed, which is to survey the northern area of the airport land, and we have a good area from which we have removed the special pieces, and we are waiting for the advisory team to give us (Master Plan - Planning) on each piece to announce it."
Al-Najjar added that "the time limit for the project is open, due to the large area," noting that "the project may be completed within the next 10 years, and we will present the project piece by piece."
She pointed out that "the information released on the airport grounds is all wrong," noting that "the project was granted by the authority to an Emirati government company."
And she indicated that "the decision of the Council of Ministers is clear and explicit to allocate the ownership of government agencies to the Investment Authority, and therefore the survey and the time taken came to separate privately owned lands and investment contracts." Ended 29 / p. 87
