    Today, Monday, Adviser to the Prime Minister for Elections Affairs, Abdul-Hussein Al-Hindawi, announced the readiness of the Independent High Electoral Commission to hold the elections on time, while specifying the period for submitting appeals and complaints.
    Al-Hindawi said, in an interview with the National News Center, that "the preparations for the elections are continuing and actively, and there is rapid progress towards election day," noting that "the Commission announced its full readiness to hold the elections."
    He added, "There are deficiencies that will be completed, and they are natural deficiencies, including issues related to the security aspect, as well as the provision of stores and all the precautionary requirements for the work of the Commission," stressing that "the Commission will take all precautionary measures, in order to be ready on polling day."
    He pointed out that "the number of international observers will be up to 500, as there are approximately 130 observers from the United Nations and the same from the European Union, in addition to the presence of observers from the Arab League, the Arab League and the Organization of the Islamic Conference, and some countries have expressed their willingness and desire to participate." .
    He explained that "the observers will be present in the national office and some of the main needy governorates, and there are joints in this electoral process, which is a biometric process in the first place, and therefore it is not a karmic method, he monitors every box and it will be roving."
    He pointed out that “there are approximately 50,000 Iraqi observers in Iraqi national networks, which are effective and professional and need continuous support, in addition to the fact that each party has the right to appoint agents for political entities, to monitor the electoral process, and this supports the electoral process.”
    He stated that "the results of the elections in each electoral station and in each box, will be announced after the end of the voting on the same day, but on the next day, all preliminary results will be announced through the commission."
    And he indicated that "there are two days before the issue of appeals and complaints, which will be broadcast quickly, and its final results will be within a very few days."
