{Iraq: Al Furat News} The Minister of Defense, Jumaa Inad Saadoun, arrived, on Wednesday, to the Republic of Italy, at the invitation he received from his Italian counterpart Lorenzo Guerini.

According to the ministerial statement, {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, "This visit comes to discuss the bilateral relations between the two countries, especially with regard to serving the capabilities of the Iraqi armed forces, in addition to discussing the training of the Iraqi army forces."
The statement added that "the Minister of Defense was received upon his arrival in Italy by his Italian counterpart, and the two sides will hold a number of special meetings to serve the interests of the two countries."
