    Erbil (Kurdistan 24) - The White House Coordinator for Middle East and North Africa Affairs, Brett McGurk, said that the United States supports Iraq's sovereignty, noting that his country will continue to support the Peshmerga forces and the Iraqi army.
    McGurk's statements came today, Sunday, in a speech during his participation in the "Manama Dialogue" forum, which is being held in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
    McGurk said that Washington supports Iraq's sovereignty, constitution and legitimate institutions, stressing the development of relations between Iraq and Arab countries is a matter that facilitates his country and enhances the security of the region.
    "We are committed to establishing a long-term alliance with Iraq," he added.
    "We will continue to help Iraq militarily, and we will continue to train the Iraqi army and the Peshmerga forces so that Iraq can defend its sovereignty," McGurk added.
