    {Local: Al Furat News} The person in charge of the duties of the Minister of Electricity, Adel Karim, revealed the ministry's next plan to achieve a fair distribution of electrical energy between the governorates.
    A statement by his office, of which the {Euphrates News} Agency received a copy of, said that Karim "received in his office at the ministry's headquarters Thursday the governor of Anbar Ali Farhan, representatives of the province, general managers of the transportation, distribution, studies and planning sector, and the media office, and they discussed the projects that were referred to Anbar, which were two plants with a production capacity of 350 megawatts with Choosing the appropriate sites for it in coordination with the local government of the governorate and the UAE company Masdar.
    He added, "The governorate's energy needs were also heard and discussed during the current winter season, and the plan to supply it with the required energy."
    The Minister in charge of Electricity Management reviewed "the extent of the great damage to the electricity infrastructure through the destruction of power transmission lines, but the wonderful efforts of our staff were able to return them to work after they were affected by sabotage and terrorism."
    Karim also presented "the most important obstacles and problems facing the march of strategic projects and ways to overcome them," noting that "the ministry, after coordinating with the Ministry of Planning, embarked on carrying out the maintenance of a modern station."
    He added, "We focus our attention on all governorates, taking into account the paramount importance of some strategic projects, and despite suffering from the lack of allocations that greatly affected the performance of the system, we have not stopped rehabilitating and developing them with the available capabilities and self-efforts, and our next plan will adopt maneuvering loads to suit With the needs of the regions, we will adopt a fair distribution of the governorate’s share of energy between its districts and sub-districts.
