The Governor of the Central Bank receives the Chaldean Patriarch in Iraq and the world
His Excellency the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Mustafa Ghaleb Mokhief, received today, Thursday, Cardinal Louis Raphael Sako, Patriarch of the Chaldeans in Iraq and the world. His Eminence expressed his thanks and pride for what the Central Bank of Iraq and the Association of Iraqi Private Banks provided through their community initiative to support them in rehabilitating the Virgin Mary Church in the governorates of Baghdad and Basra, as well as providing aid and gifts to children of needy families on New Year's holidays. For his part, His Excellency the Governor of the Central Bank pointed out the importance of the work provided by the initiative from the money donated by Iraqi private banks to support community ties.
