    Today, Friday, the Iraqi Border Ports Authority seized 7 containers containing materials violating import conditions at Umm Qasr Port.
    In a statement to the authority, it said, "The authority, with efforts and field follow-up of all goods, and in coordination with the customs police station at the northern port of Umm Qasr port, seized seven containers containing (molasses prohibited from import, secondary ceilings and parts of the water pump plant) in violation of the terms and controls Import as it exceeded the legal period allowed for its stay in the port without consulting the stakeholders.
    The statement indicated that "a committee has been formed from the competent authorities, organizing a fundamental seizure report, and referring the materials to the judiciary to take legal measures against violators."
