Today, Wednesday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi issued directives related to the readiness of the security forces.
The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, opened today the work of the first quarterly operations conference of the Joint Operations Command for the year 2022, which was held at the headquarters of the Joint Operations Command." Noting that, "At the beginning of the conference, Al-Kazemi listened to an intelligence briefing, a comprehensive assessment of the conduct of military operations, efforts to follow up and destroy terrorist cells, pursue their elements, and destroy their hideouts."
He added, "The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces was briefed on other briefs submitted by the various military and security agencies related to planning, training, targeting and mobilization, as well as presenting a vision of joint operations for the conduct of operations, ensuring the performance of duties, and the success of purification and pursuit operations."
Al-Kazemi issued "a number of directives related to methods for setting plans and determining the needs related to completing the readiness of our security forces units, raising their readiness to perform duty and intelligence efforts, proactive operations, training our heroic forces, and pursuing the remaining ISIS terrorist gangs."
