The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hakim Al-Zamili, confirmed today, Wednesday, that hosting the Minister of Electricity aims to solve problems and the possibility of increasing processing hours.
Al-Zamili said in his speech during the hosting of the Minister of Electricity, Adel Karim, according to the official agency, that "the fifth session of the House of Representatives differs from the previous one in the keenness and rush of the representatives," noting that "50 signatures were collected by the deputies to host the Minister of Electricity."
Al-Zamili expressed his thanks to the minister "for his quick response and for cutting off his travels to Iran in respect of the parliament's invitation," appreciating "the role of officials in the executive authorities to do with parliament," stressing that "the role of parliament and the government is complementary, aiming to provide service to the citizen."
He pointed out that "hosting the Minister of Electricity, came in order to know the ministry's problems and support it in solving them," noting that "next summer will witness a rise in temperatures and rising dust, since the previous seasons were dry."
He continued, "Baghdad and the southern provinces will witness high temperatures and heat emissions," noting that "the representatives are subjected to great popular pressure as they are in contact with citizens, and there must be an integrated role between Parliament and the government and continue to provide service."
He pointed out that "the hosting aims to know what the ministry will provide next summer, and whether there is an increase in operating hours, what is the ministry's vision and whether it has the possibility to reduce the hours of interruption, in addition to knowing the ministry's ability to address the problem of Iranian gas or others, and what are the treatments for electrical stations." gas-operated.
