Al-Rai newspaper quoted Al-Kandari as saying in this regard: “The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry should summon the Iraqi ambassador, and deliver him a letter of protest against the threats made by Iraqi MP Alaa Al-Haidari towards Kuwait, in the event that the Iraqi government does not act in his direction, an escalatory diplomatic stance must be taken.” Khaled Al-Mounas on his Iraqi counterpart by saying: "The Iraqi parliamentarian who wanted to earn.. should be polite with his speech."

As for Representative Abdullah Al-Mudhaf, he saw that “electoral madness is pushing a member of the Iraqi parliament to regurgitate from the past decade,” adding in this context, saying: “In general, we are a state with its freedom and sovereignty, which must be respected, and Iraq must confront the dissonant voices.”
