The visit of the Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi to Iran, has received remarkable attention from the Iranian leadership.

A source close to the coordinating framework forces said that Al-Halbousi hit two birds with one stone, and achieved two goals that only Tehran found a way to achieve, indicating that the first goal of the visit was to persuade Tehran to pressure the framework forces to change its pressure on Al-Halbousi towards replacing him with one of the Sunni leaders who acquitted the Iraqi judiciary. Recently.

As for the second goal that al-Halbousi seeks to achieve, it is to get closer to Tehran by pledging to pressure the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, towards opening a serious dialogue with the forces of the framework.

It seems that Al-Sadr had information about Al-Halbousi's goals and decided his position on the rumors of rapprochement between him and the framework.

Hassan al-Adari, head of the Sadrist movement’s bloc in parliament, said in an angry tone that everything rumored about the dialogues al-Sadr is conducting with the forces of the framework are baseless and are lies circulated by bankrupts, stressing that al-Sadr’s position is still the same towards forming a national majority government and that this position It has not and will not change.

The same sources revealed calls that the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Massoud Barzani, tried to make with al-Sadr, but the latter refused to answer those calls, indicating that al-Sadr has become aware of Barzani's position refusing to keep the situation as it is and calling for a dialogue with the framework forces to get out of the impasse.

For his part, the leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Rizan Diler, expected the parliament to be dissolved and new elections to be held if the political stalemate continues.

Diller said if the tripartite alliance remains on its position, refusing to dialogue with other forces, it will not be able to choose a president for the republic even after the end of the Sadr deadline, which ends after Eid al-Fitr.

The Kurdish leadership indicated that, in light of the current situation and in light of Al-Sadr's strict position on the framework forces, the only constitutional way left for the political forces is to dissolve Parliament and hold early elections six months after the dissolution of Parliament while maintaining Al-Kazemi's government until the completion of the elections and the formation of a new government.
