Shafaq News/ The representative of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Karim Shakur, said on Monday that the initiative launched by independent representatives and emerging forces to solve the government formation crisis, will not produce positive results for several reasons.
Shakur told Shafaq News Agency, "The initiative of the independents to end the current political and parliamentary crisis is an attempt without results for several reasons, most notably the control of influential forces over solutions to the crisis and disputes that require concessions to get out of the political blockage."
Shakur conditioned ending the political crisis and proceeding with the formation of the government “with the major powers relinquishing the ceiling of requests and ending the main axes of disputes, as they are the first responsible in front of the people for obstructing the formation of the government and the delay in approving the budget and the upcoming problems and benefits left by the current political crisis.”
Yesterday, Sunday, the independent representatives and the emerging blocs put forward an initiative through a press conference they held, in the parliament building, and it included 7 items to end the crisis and the political blockage.
