    directed the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani, to honor the members of the Arab and International Police Directorate in the Ministry of Interior (Iraqi Interpol) after recovering one of the grandsons of Saddam’s brothers who had been accused of participating in Carrying out the Speicher massacre against hundreds of Iraqi soldiers in 2014.[/size]
    [size=45]Yesterday, Friday, the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced the recovery of Abdullah Yasser Sabawi al-Nasseri from the Lebanese Republic, after “an exceptional effort and intelligence tracking.”[/size]
    [size=45]The Iraqi authorities say that the accused is “wanted” according to the provisions of the Anti-Terrorism Law.[/size]
    [size=45]The media office of the Prime Minister said that Al-Nasseri “is wanted by law for his participation in the murder of our righteous martyrs from the Camp Speicher base in 2014.”[/size]
    [size=45]In the aftermath of the fall of the city of Mosul in 2014, ISIS elements executed by firing squad some 1,700 soldiers who had fled from Camp Speicher near Tikrit.[/size]
    [size=45]The massacre at the former US base became a symbol of the brutality of the Islamic State, which was subsequently defeated in late 2017.[/size]
    [size=45]The media office stated that the process of his recovery “was carried out through close cooperation by our heroic fighters in the Ministry of Interior, the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, and the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Beirut.[/size]
    [size=45]Last August, the Lebanese authorities announced the arrest of Abdullah Sabawi, based on a warrant issued by the International Police (Interpol).[/size]
