    Al-Eqtisad News - Special
Iraq ranked third in oil exports to China, after Saudi Arabia and Iran, with a rate of 15.73% of the total Chinese imports during the month of December.
According to the research unit in "Al-Iqtisad News", Iraq exported to China 1.040 million barrels per day from the fields controlled by the central government, 935.726 barrels per day, while the fields of the Kurdistan region amounted to 94.926 barrels per day.
Iraq came after Saudi Arabia, which maintains the first place, as it exports 1.53 million barrels per day, and then Iran, which exports 1.211 million barrels per day.
While Russia exports 866,854 barrels per day to China, followed by the Sultanate of Oman, which exports 725,343 barrels per day.
The competition in the Chinese market has become very great, because it is considered the largest market for smuggled and official oil, as Saudi Arabia controls it to a large extent, for several reasons, including the establishment of Saudi refineries inside China and the granting of discounts to importers.
