On Sunday, the House of Representatives held its session, headed by the Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Shakhwan Abdullah.

The media department of the parliament said in a statement, which "NAS" received a copy of, (February 19, 2023), "Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Shakhwan Abdullah, inaugurated the work of the seventh session of the first legislative term of the second legislative year of the fifth session."
Later, the department announced, "The council has completed the first reading of the draft law, the twenty-first amendment to the owners' law."
She added, "The Council finished the first reading of the draft law approving the financial statements for the fiscal year ending in 2014."
And she indicated, "The council finished the first reading of the draft law, the first amendment to the private security companies law."
She pointed out that "the Council finished the first reading of the draft law on legal aid, and the first reading of the draft law on statistics and geographic information systems."
