Today, Wednesday, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, affirmed that the government's ministerial curriculum guarantees the protection of public and private freedoms, while stressing the need to provide the Iraqi government with any monitoring of human rights.

A statement by Al-Sudani's office, received by Al-Sumaria News, stated that the latter "received a number of representatives of Iraqi civil society organizations that have an advisory status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations in the presence of the Human Rights Adviser," appreciating "the efforts made by these organizations to consolidate the principles of human rights in accordance with the contents of Constitution, stressing the importance of guaranteeing all the civil rights of citizens.

Al-Sudani pointed out, "The government's ministerial curriculum guarantees the protection of public and private freedoms, and the freedoms of all segments of Iraqi society."

And he listened to "the presentation of the heads of the organizations with regard to human rights, noting the importance of providing the government with any monitoring available to these organizations, and work is underway to deal with any case about which information is received, stressing the rejection of any practice that violates rights in all its forms, and the determination to hold the negligent in this regard accountable." .

And the Prime Minister indicated, "The government's interest in the field reports, surveys and studies submitted by these organizations, calling on them to submit periodic reports on all cases to the Human Rights Adviser, accompanied by documents or documents related to corruption cases to take the necessary action in their regard."

Al-Sudani also directed, "The ministries, in cooperation with organizations that have consultative status, calling on the organizations to also contribute to the Iraq Climate Conference, which Basra will soon host."
