Specialized statistics revealed today, Saturday, that global markets received, during the past year 2022, more than 13 million barrels of oil per day from 4 countries, including Iraq.
According to the statistics of the Joint Organizations Data Initiative (JODI), which Baghdad Today viewed, “the average amount of oil exports received by global markets from 4 Arab crude-exporting countries (Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait and Algeria) has risen to 13.35 million barrels per day over the past year ( 2022), compared to an average of 11.61 million barrels per day in 2021.
The increase in oil exports to Arab countries during the past year came, with global demand for crude rising to its highest levels ever, amid an increase in global oil consumption by about 1.3 million barrels per day during the last month of 2022.
The average Iraqi exports of crude oil to the global market amounted to about 3.7 million barrels per day in 2022, compared to 3.43 million barrels per day in 2021.
And the month of April 2022 recorded the highest amount of Iraqi oil exports during the past year, amounting to 3.83 million barrels per day, then October, with a quantity that reached 3.76 million barrels per day.
While last March witnessed the lowest level of Iraqi oil exports during the past year, at about 3.6 million barrels per day, followed by January, at about 3.62 million barrels per day.
Iraq's revenues from oil exports jumped over the past year to $115.4 billion, compared to $75.7 billion in 2021.
