    Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Commerce announced the locations of food marketing outlets in Baghdad, while the date for opening other outlets in three governorates has been set.
    Lama Hashim Al-Moussawi, Director General of the Ministry's General Company for Foodstuff Trade, said in a press statement, "There is a wide demand from citizens for marketing outlets for selling foodstuffs at low prices," noting that "the materials in the outlets are mostly local and also include materials from international origins." ".
    She added, "These outlets include all foodstuffs, without exception, including eggs, meat, cheese, milk, and washing powders," noting that "the ministry opened today three outlets in Baghdad, and during the next two days, outlets will be opened in Nineveh, Dhi Qar, and Maysan, and after that they will include all provinces without exception."
    And she continued, "The locations of these outlets are the Karkh sales center in the stores of the Ministry of Commerce in the Iskan area, the second outlet in the company's warehouses in the Al-Huriyah area, and the third in the company's stores in Sadr City, and there will also be centers in the company's stores in Nineveh, Dhi Qar and Maysan."
    And she emphasized, "The presence of oversight work teams that follow up the issue of prices in marketing outlets, in addition to the presence of other teams that monitor the market daily in wholesale markets and food agents."
    Regarding the Ramadan basket, Al-Moussawi indicated that, "Yesterday, the meal for the month of Ramadan was launched, which included the basic basket materials that we used to deliver in previous months, with the addition of 5 kilos of flour, 1 kilo of noodles, half a kilo of starch, and a layer of eggs for the Iraqi family without any additional amounts."
