    Baghdad Today - Damascus
The Iraqi Embassy in Syria issued, today, Thursday (August 29, 2024), a clarification regarding the duration of residence of Iraqis in the Syrian Republic.
The embassy said in a statement received by "Baghdad Today", that "some social media sites published information indicating that the competent Syrian authorities made the period of residence 14 days instead of 30 days for arriving Iraqis."
She added that she "contacted the Syrian Ministry of Interior and Major General Khaled Hadid, Director of the Immigration and Passports Department, and he denied these allegations completely."
In its statement, the embassy called on everyone to "be accurate and not spread incorrect information."
