Shafaq News/ The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, said on Saturday that his government has made significant strides in resolving oil and gas problems, praising at the same time the role of the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, in strengthening relations between Erbil and Baghdad.
Al-Sudani said in a speech during the official celebration of the 42nd anniversary of the founding of the "Badr" organization in Baghdad, that we will not hesitate to implement our government program in order to provide a qualitative leap in services to citizens and competently address crises.
He added, "We were able, in a short period of time, to create and move projects that had lain dormant for a period of time, and cut off corruption, which its owners thought would remain forever, and strengthen foreign relations."
Al-Sudani also said, "Your government, with these steps, does not deviate from the struggle of the mujahideen for a strong and prosperous Iraq, and the government has worked in the short period to achieve stability by preserving the provisions of the political agreement of the State Administration Coalition."
He continued by saying, "We have come an important way to solve oil and gas problems," adding, "Here he took advantage of the presence of the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, and I praised his role for his efforts to strengthen relations between Baghdad and Erbil, and to address all obstacles and overcome them."
