    On Monday, the Secretary-General of the Ahrar al-Furat Party, Abdullah Ahmed al-Jughaifi, revealed the arrival of American combat forces coming from the Gulf countries via Basra to Anbar to fill the vacuum of the Danish withdrawal from Ain al-Assad .

    Al-Jughaifi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, “The American forces summoned combat forces from their bases in the Gulf to fill the void left by the Danish forces after withdrawing from their positions and announcing the end of their combat missions in Iraq within the US-led international coalition forces."
    He added, "The American forces maintain large forces at Ain al-Assad air base in al-Baghdadi district in the Hit district, west of Anbar, despite the end of military operations, and according to the available indications, those forces did not withdraw." from this base and will remain for a long time after they established a runway for their forces to fly inside the base building, as well as their establishment Expansion and construction of new buildings for its forces inside the base, noting that "the American forces have received the positions of the Danish forces." 
    The Danish defense had issued a statement to withdraw its forces from Iraq and return to their country after the end of their combat missions. End/12a
