Al-Mansour Pharmaceutical Industries announced that it lost about 800 million dinars during the year 2022, after the factory stopped production permanently.
The company said, in its annual report, which was reviewed by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "there are no revenues during the year 2022 due to the plant's final cessation of production, its rehabilitation and its complete restructuring according to the requirements of the Ministry of Health, after increasing the capital that was spent for rehabilitation purposes."
She added, "It achieved losses of 799.7 million dinars during the year 2022," stressing that "the company's capital increased from 9.9 billion dinars in the year 2021, to 16 billion dinars in the year 2022."
She pointed out that "there are several obstacles, including the lack of a clear state policy regarding the pharmaceutical industry, the wide openness of the pharmaceutical market outside the controls and instructions, and fluctuations in the exchange rate of the dollar against the dinar."
