In an interview with Al-Maalouma, Odeh said, "The differences between the leaders of the Sovereignty Coalition are clear and have caused a series of defections of representatives from several provinces in the past months, including Diyala," pointing out that "the general situation indicates that the Sovereignty Coalition has begun to disintegrate into 5 provinces."
He added, "The disputes between the poles of sovereignty are an internal matter, and what matters to us is that the conflicts do not lead to any damage to stability and social peace, and that they are managed away from any escalation," stressing that "The disintegration of sovereignty and the formation of new alliances is another image of the nature of political action in accordance with democratic principles."
Odeh pointed out that "important changes will appear on the political scene ahead of the upcoming provincial council elections, especially in the Sunni provinces."
The non-Sunni political parties are awaiting what the polar struggle of the Sovereignty Coalition led by Khamis al-Khanjar and Taqadum led by Muhammad al-Halbousi will end, amid expectations that more players will be summoned within the Sunni team opposing al-Halbousi, most notably Osama al-Nujaifi, Muthanna al-Samarrai, Mishaan al-Jubouri and Rafi al-Issawi, to support al-Khanjar during the upcoming elections. End 25 F
