Disagreements arising over some items of the general budget, specifically with regard to the share of the Kurdistan region, led to the postponement of voting on it until further notice.
In this context, the representative of the coordination framework, Asaad Al-Bazuni, said, in a statement to Al-Maalouma, that “the conditions set by Kurdistan in the budget related to oil exports without returning to SOMO or the government, are not applicable," pointing out that "the solution to this problem lies flexibility and understanding between the various political parties.

He added, “The budget was not stopped because of a Kurdish representative, but rather it can be considered the will of a component that is part of the state administration coalition, and despite that, it does not mean that everyone falls under the wills that are not in the interest of the masses in general.”
For his part, the representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Sherwan Al-Dobardani, confirmed in a press statement that "his party's position is clear by rejecting any amendment to these articles, especially since the current government headed by Al-Sudani was established accordingly." to this agreement, and that there are fears that this amendment will lead to a pounce on the rest of the paragraphs that were agreed upon politically in the state coalition administration.
In addition, the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Representative Mahma Khalil, said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, that "the dispute regarding Articles 13 and 14 of the draft federal budget law is still faltering, and there is no agreement on the matter." horizon for the moment.”
He added that "discussions are taking place at a high level between the forces of the state administration to reach a solution that satisfies all parties and achieves justice for all."
As for the leader of the Union, Ghiath Al-Sorji, he confirmed in a statement to Al-Maalouma that "the amendments that took place within the Parliamentary Finance Committee regarding the region's budget are legal and are in the interest of transparency."
He added, "The federation supports all amendments and sees in them the true guarantee for the people of the region and the receipt of employee salaries and dues without delay."

He pointed out that "the Democratic Party's objection to the budget cannot be accepted, and its goal is to provoke a new crisis," expecting "to pass the budget without the participation of the Democrat in the session," explaining that "the Democratic Party It represents only 10% of the number of Parliament, and its presence or not will not affect the course of events in session.
The head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc in the House of Representatives, Vian Sabri, had confirmed earlier today, Sunday, that the State Administration Alliance will meet tomorrow, Monday, to discuss the efforts of the Finance Committee to amend several articles of the draft budget law. Ended / 25 p.m
