Today, Sunday, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein confirmed that Iraq was a corridor for drug traffic and is now consuming it.
Hussein said in a press conference, followed by (Baghdad Today), that "relations with Syria are deep, and our position is firm in supporting the Syrian people."

He pointed out that "we discussed today cooperation with Syria regarding the drug file," stressing that "Iraq was a corridor for the movement of drugs and is now consuming them."
