Baghdad / Obelisk Al-Hadath: The Iraqi parliament seeks to complete the vote on the financial budget law and overcome differences over some articles related to the export of oil in the Kurdistan region.
Parliament voted at midnight Thursday/Friday on a number of budget articles, while the negotiations extended throughout Friday.
Controversial issues are related to the deputies of the Kurdish forces on the one hand, and the deputies of the coordination framework.
And a new round of dialogues begins this afternoon, Saturday, in an attempt to reach new understandings.
The leaders of the Kurdistan region believe that the forces that make up the government must abide by the pledges and agreements they made with the “Coordination Framework” coalition and not abandon them.
On March 13, the Iraqi Council of Ministers approved the largest financial budget in the country's history, which exceeded 197 trillion and 828 billion Iraqi dinars (about 152.2 billion dollars), with a total deficit of 63 trillion Iraqi dinars, taking advantage of the rise in global oil prices.
And parliamentary sources reported, Al-Obelisk, that the political differences are still the tyrant, and there is no consensus on resolving the items of the dispute, amid many proposals for a settlement.
The sources expected that the leaders of the blocs and the senior leaders would agree to a certain settlement, which would be the decisive factor in overcoming the points of disagreement, considering that there is a political will towards consensus that has begun to appear.
And it became clear that the budget will proceed to its goal according to a political settlement that achieves a reasonable balance for the different interests, giving the strong and weak parties their entitlements according to certain calculations, because not approving the budget will
It arouses massive popular resentment.
