    Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Electricity announced that it had recorded the highest load in the history of the national energy system in Iraq, while noting that Iran had expressed its willingness to increase gas emissions.
    The ministry's spokesman, Ahmed Musa, said, in an interview with the Iraqi News Agency, followed by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "the visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Electricity to Iran resulted in an increase in gas capacities," noting that "the Iranian side supplies Iraq with 45 million cubic meters of gas, which contributed to an increase in gas capacity." station power and operating other stations.
    Moussa added, "The Iranian side expressed its willingness to increase gas releases," noting that "Iraq needs 55-60 million cubic meters of gas, but according to negotiations with the Iranian side, 45 million cubic meters are now available."
    And he expressed his hope that "this supply of gas will continue to keep pace with the peak loads and the operation of the stations," pointing out that "there are no gas supplies or transmission lines from other countries, but only the lines of connection with the Iranian side that supply Iraq with gas."
    He stressed, "The supply of the system has so far reached 25,280 megawatts," noting that "this load is the highest in the history of establishing the energy system in Iraq, as we have helped the availability of gas and the increase in its releases."
