    BAGHDAD / obelisk: The President of the Republic Fuad Masum, Iraq is looking forward to build advanced relations with Kuwait, stressing the need to strengthen cooperation and joint action.

    A statement for the presidency got "obelisk", a copy of the "infallible met at United Nations Headquarters in New York, the Prime Minister of Kuwait, Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah in the presence of Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari and the ministers of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and the Kuwaiti oil Ali Al-Omair."

    The statement added that "During the meeting, review the political and security situation and brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries."

    The infallible, according to the statement, "Iraq is looking forward to building advanced relations with Kuwait as to enhance the common interests of the two brotherly peoples," pointing to "the need to strengthen cooperation and joint action."

    For his part, Al-Sabah stressed that "the common interests of both countries are large and should work to strengthen and push forward," announcing "his country's readiness to support Iraq and attributed in these circumstances."
