    Information / Baghdad...
A member of the State of Law Coalition, Saad al-Muttalbi, confirmed, on Monday, that most political parties will participate in the local elections at the end of this year, ruling out at the same time that the election period will witness political tensions or a state of chaos.

Al-Muttalbi told Al-Maalouma, "All possibilities are available regarding the country's situation during the local elections period, although everything will be clear and everyone is determined to hold the elections in a positive atmosphere, except for the buried Baath Party, which seeks to sabotage the electoral process."
He added, "The interest of the parties inside and outside the government requires holding elections and not creating the problems and tensions that occurred in the past period."
Al-Muttalbi ruled out "the occurrence of hostile activities during the elections, such as revolutions and coups against power, especially since all the blocs that were on the side of the opposition are today involved in the political process, with the exception of some hidden security incidents related to targeting electricity and sabotaging some stations that may increase during the election period." ended 25 n
