Advisor to the Prime Minister for Investment Affairs, Mohamed Al-Najjar, said that the government is now providing many facilities to residential city construction projects that address chronic population pressure, as it realizes that the reality of implementation in the country requires the adoption of new work mechanisms that help achieve a real flow of construction for all stages of the project without any Confusion, and in a way that suits all segments of society.
He pointed out in an interview with “Al-Sabah” that the reality of implementation is heading to change its mechanisms in a positive direction that is consistent with the requirements of real investment, away from complexity and bureaucracy, and this will be felt by those who work in the investment sector inside the country, pointing out that the reality of the country’s situation requires real work that stems from a real will. In turn, the economic affairs specialist, Ahmed Al-Nisani, confirmed that Iraq needs major work in the housing sector at a time when the country’s need for housing is growing and has reached 4 million housing units. This is a large number that requires great effort and work, and requires providing ideal performance climates that support the implementation of projects.
He pointed out that the completed housing units that are offered to citizens in more than one residential complex have become unsustainable due to their high prices.
