Shafaq News/ The Digital Media Center (DMC) confirmed on Wednesday that the steps taken by the X platform, “formerly Twitter,” with regard to authenticating government accounts lack accuracy and credibility, and may create problems with political and social dimensions in Iraq.
According to a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, the center monitored the process of documenting accounts in the government gray color of political figures in Iraq, who had not originally submitted requests to verify their government accounts, which means that the documentation process is a process of fraud and deception and aims to create problems and chaos and achieve certain goals.

The Center also called on the relevant authorities in the government to tighten their procedures regarding granting employee e-mail, and to warn all employees against using e-mail for personal purposes apart from the tasks for which the e-mail was granted.
