Baghdad/Al-Masala Al-Hadath: Iraqi oil expert Hamza Al-Jawahiri said that what threatens the water and environment file is the poor management of these files and not the licensing round contracts.
Al-Jawahiri added, in a press statement, that “tour contracts are what Iraqis and Iraqis live from, and they are what support the state’s budget allocations with 95% of the funds.”
He continued, "Anyone who speaks ill against licensing rounds is a traitor to the country or works for a foreign party because he is inciting to strike Iraq's economy to its core," according to Raya.
Al-Jawahiri's statement includes several ideas, the first of which is that poor management of the water and environment file is the main reason for the threat to these two files, and not the licensing round contracts.
This opinion is consistent with the opinion of many experts and observers who point out that licensing round contracts do not directly affect the water and environment file, but rather their impact depends on how they are managed by the Iraqi government.
In Al-Jawahiri's opinion, licensing round contracts are the source of livelihood for Iraqis and Iraqis, and they support the state's general budget by 95%.
This opinion is correct from a quantitative standpoint, as licensing round contracts contribute large proportions to the revenues of the Iraqi state, but this does not mean that these contracts cannot negatively affect the water and environment file.
Al-Jawahiri believes that anyone who speaks badly against licensing rounds is a traitor to the country or works for a foreign party.
But points of view believe that this opinion is exaggerated, as there are many experts and observers who oppose licensing round contracts, but they do not do so out of treason or working for foreign parties, but rather because they believe that these contracts have negative effects on the Iraqi economy and the Iraqi environment.
In general, the water and environment file in Iraq suffers from major problems, and licensing round contracts cannot be blamed for all of these problems. Rather, poor management of these contracts can contribute to exacerbating these problems.
Hamza Al-Jawahiri's comments highlight important aspects of Iraq's economic and environmental reality. His opinion clearly shows the positive impact of licensing round contracts in supporting the Iraqi economy and providing the revenues necessary to operate the state and achieve development.
His statements also show the challenge facing Iraq between the necessity of developing the economic sector and protecting the environment and natural resources. Managing tours in a balanced and efficient manner is in the country's interest, but achieving a balance between economic growth and environmental preservation remains a major challenge.
naturally! Hamza Al-Jawahiri's statements highlight a delicate balance between Iraq's economy and environmental preservation. Despite the importance of revenues from industries such as oil and energy, it reiterates the need to protect water and the environment.
There is a call on the government and stakeholders to improve environmental management and monitoring, as well as enhance transparency and accountability regarding tours and licences. Maintaining a balance between revenue generation, economic prosperity and environmental protection is an important challenge that must be faced wisely.
