The representative of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Sarwa Muhammad Rashid, stressed on Monday the necessity of amending the budget to guarantee the entitlements of Kurdistan Region employees to transfer them from actual spending to governing expenditures.

Rashid said in an interview with the “Al-Ma’louma” agency, that “amending the budget will contribute significantly to resolving the financial problems between the region and the center,” noting that “there is a trend after the election of a new speaker of the House of Representatives to work on amending the controversial points, whether related to the schedules or the disputed articles in the budget.” ",
She explained that "the living situation is not good for the employees of the Kurdistan region as a result of the delay in their salaries, which requires reaching an agreement to solve the problem of the salary crisis."
The representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Sharif Suleiman, confirmed earlier that the Kurdish delegation in Baghdad had received promises to pay the monthly salaries of the employees of the Kurdistan region, pointing out that resolving the crisis in the salaries of the region’s employees requires amending basic items in the budget.
