The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, received a phone call on Friday from the Minister of State in the German Foreign Ministry, Tobias Lindner.[/size]
[size=45]According to a statement, the German Minister, during the phone call, strongly condemned the Iranian attack that targeted Erbil, and expressed to the Prime Minister his country’s condolences, solidarity and support for the region, and Barzani expressed his thanks to Germany for its support and solidarity.[/size]
[size=45]The two sides agreed on the importance of the international coalition forces continuing to perform their tasks in assisting Iraq and the Kurdistan Region in combating terrorism.[/size]
[size=45]The discussions also included discussing controversial issues between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government, and emphasizing their resolution, in a way that guarantees the region’s constitutional rights and financial entitlements.[/size]
