Today, Thursday, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Agriculture and Water Committee, Faleh Al-Khazali, revealed the issuance of a directive to remove violations on the banks of the Tigris River, south of Baghdad, attributed to “executing politicians.”
Al-Khazali said in a statement received by Al-Iqtisad News, “We called on the Ministry of Water Resources to end the file of violations on rivers, especially the Tigris River, and it must activate the committees to remove violations.”
He added, "It was agreed with the Minister of Water Resources to give Baghdad a special status due to the large number of transgressions on the Tigris River," pointing out that "enforceable politicians were trespassing on the banks of the Tigris River in the Doura and Bu Uitha areas, and directives were issued to remove their transgressions."
Chairman of the Parliamentary Agriculture and Water Committee, called on the security forces to “support and support the Ministry of Water Resources during the implementation of campaigns to remove abuses.”
