    Shafaq News/ Iraq came in third place in exporting oil to China after Russia and Saudi Arabia.
    China's imports of Russian oil rose from January to March of this year to 28.528 million tons, which is 12.85% more than the same period last year, according to what TASS reported.
    Russia remains the largest oil supplier to China; This is according to data from the General Administration of Customs in China.
    In the first three months of this year, Russia supplied $13.858 billion worth of oil to China, and in value terms, supplies increased by 17.9% compared to the first quarter of last year.
    Oil constitutes 43% of the total value of exports from Russia to China, and Saudi Arabia comes in second place in terms of oil exports to China with 19.8 million tons, worth $12.1 billion, followed by Iraq, with 15.6 million tons, worth $9 billion.
    In March, China purchased 10.8 million tons of Russian oil, which is 18.8% more than in February.
    It is noteworthy that Russia supplied 107 million tons of oil to China in 2023, an increase of 24% from 2022.
