    [rtl]The head of the Federal Integrity Commission, Judge Haider Hanoun, stressed that when Imam Ali assumed the “caliphate,” he fought the governors and senior officials who spent the people’s money on their pleasures, noting that he strengthened the freedom of expression of opinion and did justice to the oppressed.

    Hanoun said in his speech at the ceremony organized by the Authority on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadeer, “Imam Ali, immediately upon assuming the caliphate, embarked on an administrative reform represented by the removal of the corrupt governors and senior employees who monopolized the treasure and spent the people’s money on their pleasures, and replaced them with honest people.”

    He added, "The mechanisms he put in place to implement justice are: transparency in governance and the judiciary, which stems from the application of the principle (where did you get this from), and freedom and expression of opinion, even if it is Against him, peace be upon him, and guaranteeing them to everyone on the condition that they do not attack with violence or weapons.”

    Hanoun added, "Imam Ali was carrying out some actions related to some state agencies, such as carrying hisbah duties himself, going to markets, rebuking violators and holding them accountable, in addition to imposing strict punishments within his criminal policy based on the foundations of justice drawn up by Sharia law."

    He stressed "the importance of what he does in terms of awareness raising of responsibilities at the level of the public and private people, and his endeavor to make the mind ruler of the heart so that his awareness of the feeling of the heart can be transferred to act accordingly and the conscience be judged and awakened.”[/rtl]
