    Information/Translation..
A report by Arak Business News revealed on Wednesday that Turkey has begun exploiting the Kirkuk-Ceyhan oil pipeline to export its oil in a blatant violation of its agreements with Iraq regarding oil exports.
The report, translated by the Maalouma Agency, stated, “The issue, in brief, is related to Turkey extending an oil pipeline from the Jabbar oil field and linking it to the Iraqi Kirkuk-Ceyhan oil pipeline so that oil is produced from the aforementioned field and from the Qandil region, where it is transported to the Khamul site and from there to.” Dortyol and Ceyhan, while production, amounting to 50 thousand barrels per day, is currently transported via a fleet of 225 trucks.
He added, "While the 37-kilometre pipeline from the Jabbar oil field to the connection point with KCOP is almost half complete, Turkey aims to produce one million barrels per day from that area."
He continued, "The above-mentioned information is derived from statements that the Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Alp Arslan Bayraktar, was said to have made during his visits, accompanied by senior officials, to the region and to the aforementioned oil field. That is, they are official statements and relate to actual government actions, and not just press news or speculation."
He stated, “The essence of the potential violation of the KCOP Agreement is the official Turkish action to connect the Jabbar oil pipeline to the Iraqi Kirkuk-Ceyhan oil pipeline in a way that Turkey is not permitted to do under the terms of the ‘Amendment to the Agreement.’” The Transportation Agreement via the Iraqi-Turkish Line System of 1973 and its recent amendments are in effect. Since 2010.”
The report pointed out that “the amended agreement between Iraq and Turkey does not stipulate at all what allows Turkey to connect a huge oil pipeline to the Iraqi Kirkuk-Ceyhan oil pipeline, and therefore it is necessary to refer to the arbitration ruling issued by the Paris International Chamber of Commerce in March 2023, regarding the Iraqi government’s lawsuit.” Against Turkey due to the latter’s violation of the pipeline agreement, as the pumping of oil was stopped immediately after the ICC ruling was issued, and it has not been resumed yet, despite the relevant talks and negotiations between the two countries.” Ended/25 D
