The Parliamentary Finance Committee attributed the reasons for the delay in sending the draft federal budget law for the year two thousand and twenty-three to the House of Representatives to change the exchange rate of the dollar in the draft law.
Committee member Faisal Al-Naeli said that the government delayed sending the budget due to the exchange rate adjustment by the Central Bank in the two thousand and twenty-three budget.
A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee added that the salaries of employees will not be affected by the change in the exchange rate and will not be affected in any way, stressing that the rise in foreign exchange reserves at the Central Bank to its highest level since the year two thousand and three will have a major role in paying the salaries of employees without delay.
