    [size=45]A security source in Baghdad reported that two people were injured and an “arsenal” of weapons was seized after an armed conflict north of the capital, while a kidnapped person was freed east of Baghdad.[/size]
    [size=45]The source stated that a security force from the Rusafa Police seized a quantity of large, medium and light weapons and arrested two people involved in an armed conflict in the Al-Basatin neighborhood in the Al-Shaab area, north of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.[/size]
    [size=45]The source explained that the conflict resulted in the injury of two people, while the reasons that led to the outbreak of this conflict are not yet known, indicating that the security forces are continuing investigations to find out the circumstances of the incident.[/size]
    [size=45]In addition, the security forces in the Rusafa Police received a report of a kidnapping operation in the Tariq “Shishan” neighborhood, and a working team was formed from the Revolution Police Station. Through surveillance cameras and information gathering, a house was raided after the kidnappers were found, accompanied by the kidnapped person. In a tight ambush, they were arrested and legal measures were taken against them.[/size]
    [size=45]In the same context, Baghdad Operations Media reported that the Operations Command detachments arrested a number of suspects under various legal articles, including those wanted for crimes (criminal, drug trafficking and use, possession of unlicensed weapons), and seized 18 pistols, three rifles of various types, a number of wheels and motorcycles violating traffic regulations, a quantity of narcotic substances and drug use devices, in addition to expired medicines on both sides of Karkh and Rusafa.[/size]
