    The Migration and Community Reconciliation Committee in the House of Representatives revealed, today, Thursday, July 25, 2024, the need for about two years to close the displacement file permanently.

    Committee member Sharif Suleiman explained that closing the displacement file requires approximately two years until the logistical requirements are prepared in the liberated governorates, and thus it can be closed permanently, noting that the original areas of the displaced still lack services.



    He added that the number of displaced persons outside the displacement camps exceeds the number of those officially residing in them, stressing that the return plan was not at the required level.
